摘要Abstract: The Fe-15Mn-8Al-1C alloy was aged at 550℃ for 24 to 72 hours, besides the growth of (Fe,Mn)3AlCx carbides (κ carbides) within the austenite matrix, the (Fe,Mn)3AlCx carbides also began to precipitate on the γ/γ grain boundary (κ' carbides). Along with the growth of the κ' carbides on the γ/γ grain boundary, the phase transformation sequences of γ+κ→γ+κ+κ'→γ0+κ' occurred. With increasing the aging period to 168 hours, γ0+κ' phases further decomposed to α+κ' phases, resulting the complete phase transformation of γ→α+κ'. This result has never been reported by other workers in the Fe-Mn-Al-C alloy system before.
