摘要Abstract: In this project, We are targeting to do to improve the existing visual system to enable it
to track from the original 8 colors to increase to more.. Our system uses the Philips ARM7
32-bit microcontroller LPC2106, which was connected directly to the C3088 camera
module using the Omnivision OV6620CMOS image sensor, and the third traditional main
part of a vision system, a frame grabber, is eliminated. This means that on this modest
hardware architecture, we willimplement simple computer image processing
algorithms,previously needing a considerable amount of computing resources, consuming a
lot of power and out of reach for this kind of small, cheap hardware. It was specifically
designed to provide a low-cost, low power but effective embedded vision system with
simple hardware that can be easily added to other applications (robot, se curity, monitoring,
etc). With careful attention to the software algorithmand applying fast, inexpensive color
image segmentation algorithm, efficiency fast color objects tracking at the speed of 40
frames/second is accomplished using commodity low cost hardware. It is a functioning
vision system, with a well-defined interface that is accessible through a standard serial port,
providing high-level, post-processed image information to a primary system (PC, another
microcontroller, etc.). This removes the trouble of performing the image-processing on the
main system, and allows the developer to concentrate on how to use the high-level image
data to perform the task at hand.
