摘要Abstract: This study is to develop a new-type Electrode-Antenna which radiation pattern is immersed
into FR4 substrate. A concave of shape of the pattern is hollowed on the substrate and paved with two
concentric circles of copper foil. The concave filled up with a highly conductive gelatin to prevent the pattern in
touch with skin. The wideband coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed monopole Electrode-Antenna is to design to both
collect ECG signal (electrode) on the chest and transmit/receive the signal (antenna) simultaneously. In
addition, to adapt with ZigBee system, the embedded antenna is designed on ISM band (2400~2484.5 MHz)
provided by Federal Communications Commission
